Parkinson's Disease Awareness Training

Course Details:

Learners will explore the underlying neurological causes of Parkinson’s, its progressive nature, and both motor and non‑motor symptoms, including fluctuating presentation and time‑critical medication. Clinical insight, lived experience, case studies, and scenario‑based learning are used to translate theory into practical, day‑to‑day care.

 

By the end of the session, delegates will be better equipped to understand the physical, psychological, and social impact of Parkinson’s, recognise associated risks, and apply person‑centred approaches that promote safety, independence, dignity, and quality of life.
