Course Details:

Effective clinical supervision supports safer patient care, reflective practice, staff wellbeing and professional development across healthcare settings. Poor supervision can contribute to burnout, communication issues and reduced staff confidence. This practical course explores clinical supervision models, reflective practice and strategies to support healthcare teams effectively.

 

Learners will develop confidence in facilitating supervision sessions, encouraging reflective conversations and understanding restorative approaches including the A-EQUIP model and Professional Nurse Advocate (PNA) role. The course also explores accountability, feedback and psychologically safe supervision environments.

NHS England identified that restorative clinical supervision can reduce staff burnout and improve wellbeing, retention and patient experience within healthcare services.
