This session provides a clear introduction to Palliative and End of Life Care, covering national guidance, key principles, and best‑practice approaches. Attendees will learn to recognise when someone is nearing death, identify common signs and symptoms, and deliver holistic, person‑centred support that maintains comfort and dignity.

The training explores the importance of Advance Care Planning, effective communication, and the vital role that care staff play in supporting both the individual and their family. By the end of the course, attendees will be better equipped to deliver safe, compassionate, and professional care during one of the most sensitive and meaningful stages of a person’s life.

Learning Outcomes – End of Life Care Training

By the end of this CPD-accredited course, participants will be able to:
