Designed for registered healthcare professionals and senior care assistants who are responsible for insulin administration as part of their role.

 

The session provides a comprehensive overview of diabetes management and insulin therapy, including blood glucose monitoring, safe insulin administration, and the recognition of complications such as hypoglycaemia, hyperglycaemia, and diabetic ketoacidosis.

Participants will also learn about the wider aspects of diabetes care, including foot care and eye health, ensuring a holistic approach to supporting individuals with diabetes in line with current best practice.
