This content is aimed at Healthcare professionals with existing wound care knowledge wanting to enhance their current skills/ knowledge and review current practice. Or those new to wound care looking to acquire new skills and practice effectively.
Session Aim:
Our aim is to address the significant financial burden associated with wound management, with unhealed wounds accounting for a substantial portion of the total annual cost of £8.3 billion (wound-uk.com).
This course aims to provide an overview of wound care assessment and management for people with acute or chronic wounds, with the goal of reducing the instances of unhealed wounds. By equipping participants with the necessary knowledge, this course strives to contribute to cost savings and improved patient outcomes in wound management.
