Course Overview
This 3-hour training session will be conducted by a highly experienced Clinical Nurse Educator who possesses first hand knowledge of the topic.

This content is aimed at Primary Care staff and is recommended for registered practitioners with vaccination experience.
Session Aim:
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), an estimated 50% of travellers from developed countries experience a health problem during their trip, with a significant proportion of these cases being preventable with proper travel health guidance.
This comprehensive course equips attendees with the necessary skills to conduct thorough travel health risk assessments. Participants will gain the expertise to provide accurate guidance, administer essential travel health vaccinations, and assist travellers in making informed decisions regarding malaria protection. Additionally, the course provides a comprehensive overview of various other travel health-related topics, ensuring attendees are well-prepared to address a wide range of travel health concerns.

- NHS travel vaccines and those not offered on the NHS.
- Overview of other travel health related risks and how to discuss risks with the traveller.
