Course Overview
The cardiovascular system, risk factors and management
This 3 hour training course will be delivered by a Clinical Nurse Educator experienced in cardiovascular disease and hypertension.

This content is aimed at Registered Practitioners involved in the care and treatment of patients with CVD. Adaptable to a range of settings.
Session Aim:
This training session aims to enhance participants' understanding of managing cardiovascular disease (CVD) and hypertension. Attendees will refresh their knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the cardiovascular system, participants will gain insights into improving the diagnosis and management of CVD. Additionally, the course will emphasise the significance of CVD for patients and provide strategies to enhance their quality of life.
Through this training, learners will explore evidence-based clinical guidance on effectively supporting individuals with hypertension. They will acquire practical skills to optimise treatment approaches and empower patients to actively self-manage their condition, thereby fostering a collaborative and patient-centred approach to hypertension care.
